We have a couple things in the works right now and I’d like to share them with you.

First, we met with Jeff and his wife Bliss from Our Kids Atlanta about working on a few fund raising events.  We are in the beginning stages of it all, but are really excited to work with them.  Our Kids Atlanta is a pretty new non-profit organization that is dedicated to helping under privileged and at-risk youth through providing after school art programs.  They have been going at it for around a year and right now have classes at Osborne High School in Marietta.  I actually teach the digital photography class.  They are so great to be involved with and are definitely doing positive things in the name of art.

Second, we have begun plans for the Second Art Sale!  The Earl Smith Strand Theatre’s education program will once again be the recipient of the proceeds from the Silent Auction.  We are working out the details for a location and will be putting out a call to artists soon so keep an eye out for that!
